The Egmont Palace and the Château de Val Duchesse have recently opened their doors to welcome event organizers, long after being exclusive to state and government functions. Both historical venues are located in a spacious natural haven in Brussels, they constitute two of the most beautiful jewels of Belgian diplomatic heritage. You will be spoilt for choice with different settings such as large meetings rooms, breakout rooms, a private entrance, reception halls, dining rooms and garden terraces.

The Egmont Palace

This venue is surrounded by the Egmont Park and Le petit Sablon, located near to Louise and Porte de Namur. Built in the 16th century, the palace was transformed in the 17th century by the Prince of Arenberg. Egmont Palace has hosted important guest such as Queen Christine of Sweden, Voltaire and Jean-Baptiste Rousseau. The building now belongs to Belgium’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It’s meeting rooms are used for important international conferences.
The Gallery des Glaces can accommodate up to 350 guests for a cocktail and 200 for a dinner whereas Galerie des  Marbres is used for smaller events. The Atrium can also be used for catering with 423m² of area. For conferences or seminars, some conference rooms are available for large and for small groups.
The Egmont II conference centre, a building adjacent The Egmont Palace, can also accommodate up to 439 participants.

Château de Val Duchesse

The castle was used as a guest-house in order to accommodate the heads of state or foreign governments and other distinguished guests. It was also with the Priory, reserved for conferences, meetings or receptions at the initiative of the Government or of Ministers or heads of various Belgian federal public services, either official European institutions.
The Salle Baron can accommodate up to 150 guests for a cocktail and 70 for a dinner
